Privacy Policy

Overview
PlayPavilion (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a collection of free browser games and hubs at playpavilion.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using PlayPavilion, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
PlayPavilion does not require you to create an account. Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Gameplay and session data — temporary server-side game state and security tokens while you play scored games.
- Leaderboard entries — if you choose to submit a score, the display name you provide, your score, the game name, and a timestamp.
- Device and usage data — pages visited, approximate country (derived from IP address), referrer source, browser type, and an anonymous visitor identifier.
- Local browser storage — preferences such as saved player names, personal bests, and Kids Learning Arcade progress stored only on your device.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Run games, validate scores, and display public leaderboards.
- Keep the platform secure and prevent abuse.
- Understand aggregate traffic and improve the site.
- Maintain basic operational logs on our servers.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies & Local Storage
PlayPavilion uses cookies and similar technologies for essential and optional features:
- Analytics cookie (
pp_vid) — an anonymous visitor ID used to measure unique visits. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and expires after one year. It is not set on Kids Learning Arcade pages. - Game preference cookies — some games store a display name or similar preference in your browser so you do not have to re-enter it.
- Local storage — games such as SlowRush and Kids Learning Arcade may save progress or personal bests locally on your device. This data is not uploaded unless you explicitly submit a score to a leaderboard.
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time.
Leaderboards
When you submit a score, the name you enter and your score may appear on public leaderboards visible to other visitors. Only provide a name you are comfortable sharing publicly. Leaderboard data is stored on our servers and may be retained as part of ongoing high-score records.
Analytics
We collect first-party, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used. For most pages this includes the path visited, approximate country, referrer, timestamp, and an anonymous visitor ID. Bot traffic is filtered when possible. Analytics data is retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then pruned.
Kids Learning Arcade
The Kids Learning Arcade is designed with privacy in mind. We do not set analytics visitor cookies on Kids pages and do not collect per-child profiles on our servers. Usage on Kids pages is recorded only in anonymous, aggregated form. Progress saved in the browser stays on your device unless you clear it.
Third-Party Services
Some pages load resources from third parties, which may collect information according to their own policies:
- Google Fonts — typography delivery.
- jsDelivr — game engine scripts on select pages.
- flagcdn.com — country flag images on the World Cup 2026 Hub.
- Public sports data APIs — fixtures and scores for the World Cup Hub; we do not send personal data to these services.
Multiplayer & Real-Time Features
Games with real-time multiplayer (such as SlowRush) use WebSocket connections to our servers for gameplay coordination. Connection metadata may be processed temporarily to operate the feature. We do not use these sessions to build advertising profiles.
Data Retention & Security
Game session tokens expire automatically. Analytics records are pruned on a rolling basis. Leaderboard entries persist until removed through routine data maintenance or score-table limits. We apply reasonable technical measures — including rate limiting, secure headers, and server-side validation — to protect the platform, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Play without submitting leaderboard scores.
- Use a nickname instead of your real name on leaderboards.
- Clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
- Stop using the site if you do not agree with this policy.
Children
PlayPavilion is a general-audience gaming site. The Kids Learning Arcade is intended for young learners with parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond anonymous aggregate usage counts. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of PlayPavilion after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
